As industrial globalization advances, the influence of international arbitration practice on domestic dispute resolution will increase. Knowing which techniques can be universally applied if and when disputes occur will help minimize costs and save time.
Hear a distinguished panel of expert international advocates and neutrals discuss cost-effective international approaches to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) that can help foster efficiencies in arbitration -- irrespective of applicable law or arbitration venue.
Program topics will include:
• The unique characteristics of international versus domestic arbitration
• Procedures for the exchange of information in international cases
• Submission of witness and expert statements
• Efforts and opportunities to curb “Larbigation” (the increasing use of litigation tactics in arbitration)
At the completion of this 90-minute program, attendees will have a greater awareness of select international arbitration techniques and how to apply them to achieve greater efficiency.
